'Lift your Seat' Glutes Workout

Hi Everyone! I've been stuck inside with the flu, which had me feeling a bit down, and I thought, what better way to cheer up and distract myself from my congestion and sore throat than a glutes post! I love barre-inspired butt exercises (ok, I love every kind of barre-inspired exercise), but especially glutes!

While barre exercises won't actually add bulk, they can reshape and lift your derriere. So, if you're only looking to build a bigger backside, this isn't going to get you there. However, many exercise programs tend to focus mostly on the glute maximus, and skimp out on the glute medius and minimus, so you should still give this a try to keep your muscles balanced for healthy joints (especially for your knees), and to give yourself a nice lifted shape. 

This video is only 15 minutes long, and the only thing you need is a countertop or some other sturdy surface :) 

Keep going until you feel the burn! Repeat the video as many times as you can while keeping your form perfect! And do a couple extra reps for me too- you'll be getting a stronger butt as I just sit mine ;) I'll be back at it soon enough though!
